I remember the time when I didn't even know a school named Cavite National Science High School existed. It was my mom who told me about it and told me to try the entrance exams there. Of course at first, I didn't want to since I don't know anything about the school. But in the end, I agreed and took the entrance exams. I was one of the lucky ones to pass the entrance exams and have the opportunity to study in this school. After adjusting for a bit, I learned that it really isn't that bad studying here. And after making friends and having fun here, I didn't regret my decision. Some of the lessons were really hard but the teachers had their own teaching techniques to help make us understand the lessons.
Now, as a grade 9 student in CNSHS, I can say that I still want to study here even after all the hardships. These hardships will lead me to become a better person. I've been comfortable and well adjusted here to leave so suddenly. I also believe that this school will help nurture me into becoming a great person in the future.

Papal Visit
For us, it is very rare that a pope would visit our country. The last Papal Visit was almost 20 years ago. Now, the new pope came and let the people feel God's love through him. Pope Francis was very close to people thus, earning the title "The People's Pope". I only saw him on the television but, I could feel his holiness in me as if I was really there. His presence here was honored by all. Some people even came from far provinces just to see him. The feeling we got when we saw the pope was undescribable. Although the opportunity to see the pope up close was given to only a few people, they still didn't think of it as unfair. At that time, we were sort of united. All thanks to Pope Francis. He gave us all hope, faith, love and prosperity.
CNSHS Inferno
There are many violations in CNSHS that can be classified into many groups. There are those who arrive late to school, forget their ribbons or IDs or wearing inappropriate uniform. Those students are listed down and when they commit another violation, they would have a minor offense already. There are also those students who litter on school grounds. These students are then asked to clean a part of the school grounds as "punishment". There are a lot of other violations that I couldn't name one by one. These violations also have their "punishment".
OFW
People need jobs. Not necessarily to live but, to fulfill their needs. They need jobs to support both themselves and their families. But, even if they work hard, they don't earn enough. Without earning enough, Filipinos would think of going overseas. These Filipinos are called OFWs or Overseas Filipino Workers. It's hard for them to decide whether or not to go abroad. But when they do, they think of it as a way to make their families' lives better. For me, it really is hard to be separated from the ones you love. I know because my mom is an OFW. She rarely goes home and when she does, it's usually for a short time only.
OFWs are very noble and hard workers. They work hard for their families while enduring the time that they are separated from them. and for that, I give them my respect.
My Salute to the Fallen 44
"A lot of people die in a day". It's pretty easy to say if you think about it. But, when you lose someone, you'll know that it's really not. being a part of a special action force is not easy. Same as beigna soldier. You're practically putting your life at risk.
If it's hard for us, hearing the news about the SAF 44, think about the families they left behind. The sorrow and hurt they must be feeling until now. I offer my salute to them. The courage they showed when they were in battle was outstanding. They didn't back down in the fight.

Alternate Ending for Romeo and Juliet.
As Romeo neared the tomb, he felt his chest beating hard and his palms sweating. Expecting to see the dead Juliet inside, he kept walking until he was in front of the entrance to the tomb. Slowly, he went inside and found something that shock him. Inside was Juliet, waiting for him. They had a moment of reconciliation. Suddenly, they were interrupted by the sound of footsteps going toward the tomb. The Capulets and Montagues rushed into the tomb. They were surprised to see that Juliet is still alive and that Romeo is with her. Romeo told them about their marriage and was expecting the Capulets to take Juliet away. But, that didn't happen. Instead, they were grateful that their daughter is still alive and approved of their marriage. The Montagues and the Capulets finally ended their rivalry and all lived happily.

To All Teachers.
Thank you to all the teachers in the world. Without you, there won't be any engineers or doctors. You are our second parents. Like our biological parents, you teach us values and you discipline us. You treat us as if we were your own children. What you teach is more than just things from books. You teach us that life is not all about books and cleverness. It is much more than that. It's about valuing the things that come to us. Aside from our biological parents, you encourage us when we lose hope. You tell us positive things but, not to the point where we get our hopes too high. We are very thankful for all the teachers worldwide. Thank you.
